Launch my first mobile app on the Google Play store 3rd year student at Yoobee college with Bachelor's Degree in Software Development.
I have an interest in tackling a wide range of programming challenges. I enjoy working on some project with React, JavaScript, and Typescript, and I've also learned C++ for the backend projects. During my learning period, I took some of the Cloud courses like AWS Cloud fundamental and Microsoft Azure AI to get an idea for these two cloud platforms. During my semester break, I created my first mobile application by using the Flutter framework which makes me understand Dart language. The main reason the app is born was because I wanted to solve my problem and create an easy UX/UI "NOTEPAD" compare to other mobile app around the store.
My work mainly focus on Object-oriented programming (OOP) technique because I truly understand OOP programming code easy to maintain and organized. During my practice, I always maintain DRY (Don't repeat yourself) method in my work. I am also enjoy applied Agile methodology because I believe that divided project into smaller part able to get customer feedback immediately and make changes when needed.
Done two official certification, which is AWS Cloud fundamental and Microsoft Azure Ai fundamental
This is my first time writing a blog for my developing project. Let me introduce myself, I'm 32 years old women who made a career change from factory operator staff to a student to pursue a Software Development career.
I guess Covid-19 create a big impact on me because, during the redundancy period, my partner is a software developer, who works from home every day and I do nothing at home. I even sit on the couch for extremely long periods of time until my spine and lower back pain awfully.
After things back to normal, the factory I used to work is asking us to go back. From that time, I realize things have changed silently. I don't feel passionate as, before Covid-19, I feel like people tend to just work and end their weekend with some birthday celebration or all sorts of boring social events. My workmate quietly gossips behind everyone and creates a lot of nonsense drama every day. (I guess this is a result of working with all the aunty with no dreams. )
I make a wish on my birthday, and one of my wishes is to quit the job. I have no idea how it happens after two months. I was having a conversation with my workmate, she told me to become a student and make a career change. From that day, I quickly search for a college and I submit the application after two days.
Here I am become a student in Software Development for about 8 months now. I will start writing blogs about my journey and give myself a promise here, I will Graduate and get a job as a Software Developer in the future.
